Toyota Hilux Vigo Champ has been replaced and the new 2015 2016 Toyota Hilux Vigo Champ will instead be called 2015 2016 Toyota Hilux Revo. Even though many customers prefer calling it 2015 Toyota Hilux Revo since it is being released in 2015, it is technically 2016 Toyota Hilux Revo as the model year for this Next Gen Hilux will be 2016.

Next Generation Toyota Hilux Revo Exterior
The exterior of the next generation of Toyota Hilux has been completely revamped. The 2016 Revo pickup is now bigger and wider. Hilux robust character is still apparent with its elevated and tough body frame.
The redesigned front grill is now more prominent and melding into streamlined backswept headlights and flanked by broader wheel-arches. Prominent eye brow shaped Day Light Running Lights (DRLs) are another stunning addition that not only enhance the quality of the drive but also make the front even more beautiful. Air intake is now larger, contributing both to its good looks and its performance. prominent eyebrow-shaped LED daytime running lights, There are now new beautiful alloy wheels and chrome door-handles and mirror caps. Hilux comes with a deck that optimizes loading and unloading efficiency, and a class-leading deck space.
Toyota Hilux Revo Interior
Toyota Hilux Revo is now much more comfortable.with leather seats on the top end models. Dashboard has been redesigned and now dominated by a large tablet sized screen that will act as an infotainment system. The screen seems to stand out and can probably be removed. Revo interior despite being comfortable is still very practical with a sharp dashboard that keeps everything at one’s fingertips.
Despite the Hilux Revo being the sort of truck you can take anywhere, the precise steering is still optimised for nimble handling and car-like ease. Whether it’s a twisty farm track or a tight corner in a parking building, steering the Toyota Hilux Revo takes less effort thanks to its engine speed-sensitive, power-assisted, rack and pinion steering.
Toyota Hilux Revo Engines
2500 cc and 3000 cc D-4D drivetrains have now been dropped in favour of newly minted ESTEC (Economy with Superior Thermal Efficient Combustion) GD powertrains that are 2400 cc and 2800 cc. Commonrail, intercooler and VNT (Variable Nozzle Turbo) are being retained and will be available in both engines. The new GD engines will feature common rail direct injection at 1,350 bar with a variable geometry turbocharger. GD engines will provide seamless acceleration and improved fuel economy.
The advanced 2800 cc diesel 2GD-FTV 132kW 2.8-litre four-cylinder engine rated at 177 horsepower (132Kw) at 3,400 rpm and 450 Nm (332 lbs-ft) of torque at 1,600-2,400 rpm in six-speed automatic and 420Nm in six-speed manual form. Please note that this very 2800 cc engine will be used in 2016 Toyota Fortuner and more importantly in Toyota Prado 2016 expected to be released in Summer of 2016.
Entry level 2400cc 1GD-FTV 112/125kW 2.4-litre revving at 160 hp (119kW) will be available with 400Nm (295 lbs-ft) for auto and 343Nm for manual.
2700 cc Dual VVT-i Petrol engine will be retained. V8 4000 cc Petrol may be offered from Australia only.

Toyota Hilux Revo Cabs
Toyota Hilux Revo is available in Single Cab, Smart Cab and Double Cab. There will be 31 variations of Revo. Single Cab Toyota Hilux Revo will be available in 4×4 for the first time in Thailand so we will have Toyota Hilux Revo Single Cab 4×2 and 4×4 Single Cab Revo. Toyota Hilux Revo Extended Cab, Toyota Revo Smart Cab will be available in three configurations: Toyota Revo Smart Cab 4×2, Toyota Revo Smart Cab Prerunner and Toyota Revo Smart Cab 4×2. Likewise Double Cab Toyota Hilux Revo will be available in Double Cab Revo 4×2, Double Cab Revo Prerunner and Double Cab Revo Four Wheel Drive.
Toyota Hilux Revo Suspension
You will now experience a car like ride. Leaf spring suspension has been replaced with a more comfortable rear coil spring based suspension as in the new Navara NP-300.
Toyota Hilux Revo Colors
Toyota Hilux Revo will be available in the standard white, black, silver and gold but it might also be offered in new exciting colors as red and blue.
Toyota Hilux Revo Safety
Toyota has implemented its new safety system Toyota Safety Sense in Toyota Hilux Revo. In addition to Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and other standard braking technology, Revo also includes autonomous emergency braking system (AEB). In addition to ABS, Toyota Hilux Vigo Champ had some great safety technologies as Vehicle Stability Control (VSC), Electronic Brake force Distribution (EBD) and Brake Assist (BA). Many of these will be brought over in more advanced guises.

2016 Toyota Fortuner top end will come with 2800 cc ESTEC GD 2KD-FTV engine. Exterior front look will be inspired by facelift of Toyota Hilux Revo but interior will have car like comfort not yet known in a SUV of its class. Chrome grill will flow into slim and sharp projector lights much like Hilux Revo
